Meet The Doctor

Barry A. Sogoloff, DMD, MS

Dr. Barry Sogoloff was raised in Boston,  Massachusetts. He attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and received a doctorate in Pharmacy in 1966. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1970. He also served in the United States Air Force with the rank of Captain and was stationed at Castle Air Force base in Atwater, California.

Dr. Sogoloff relocated to the Cleveland area in 1973. There he attended Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine, receiving a Master of Science in Dentistry in 1975. He also participated in a post-doctorate program for Periodontology at the Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine and received a Certificate in Periodontology in 1975. Dr. Sogoloff established his private practice in Beachwood in 1976.

Dr. Sogoloff has held hospital appointments at Case Western Reserve University, Metropolitan General Hospital, Mt. Sinai, St. Luke’s Hospital, and Hillcrest Hospital. He is currently on staff at St. Vincent Charity Hospital and University Hospital Systems Lyndhurst Surgery Center. Dr. Sogoloff has taught Periodontics to the General Practice Postgraduate Residency Program at St. Vincent’s Charity Hospital. He holds a conscious intravenous sedation permit and is advanced cardiovascular life support certified.

Dr. Sogoloff dedicates the majority of his time to his patients and practice. When he is not in the office, he enjoys golf and traveling with his wife, Rena.
